Attendance at any healthcare setting puts you at risk during a pandemic. Extensive precautions are being taken within our clinic so the risk would be low, but it cannot be completely eliminated. Our healthcare workers also work in the NHS and cases of asymptomatic transmission of the virus have been described. You should weigh up whether attendance at your appointment is essential and if this outweighs the risk of coming to your appointment.

Our staff will not come to work if they or anyone in their household have had possible Covid19 symptoms within the last 14 days. They will also wear masks, eye protection, gloves and aprons when they see you. You will be asked to wait in your car until we phone you to come in and we are not allowing partners or children within the clinic. We are spacing the appointments more than normal to allow disinfection of all surfaces including door handles, chair legs etc between clients. We will ask you to wash your hands on arrival and before you leave and we will remind you not to touch your eyes nose or mouth during your visit. You are welcome to wear a mask to your appointment, and if you wear glasses please wear these as they will help remind you not to touch your eyes.

You will be telephoned before your appointment to check your health status and given instructions with regards to waiting in your car or outside where you can distance yourselves from others.
