Welcome to Somerset Early Scans

We are an award winning team of Doctors, Nurse Practitioners & Advanced Practitioner Sonographers, providing pregnancy scans, gynaecology scans and fertility services.

We were rated as “Outstanding” overall in our last Care Quality Commission inspection. We won the Prestige Awards 2023/24, 2022/23 and 2021/22 for Ultrasound Clinic of the Year. In 2021 we were runners up in the Somerset Business Awards for service excellence.

Since opening in 2014 we have seen thousands of clients and had wonderful feedback about our care. Our Bridgwater clinic is easily accessible from the M5, serving Taunton, Yeovil and Weston-Super-Mare. Our Bath clinic is situated in Paulton to serve Bath, Bristol, Frome, Chippenham and Warminster.

We are all clinicians which means we will talk you through your scan as it progresses and explain the findings. We offer longer appointments than other clinics and a very high standard of care.

As well as early pregnancy scans we offer middle and late pregnancy scans, non invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), gynaecology scans and a fertility satellite service with the BCRM.
