Presentation scan – 36-42 weeks

30 minute appointment - £89

This scan is to check which way around the baby is at the end of your pregnancy. Most babies are head down (cephalic) but some are bottom down (breech). Vaginal birth may be riskier for breech babies. Usually they are picked up by your midwife feeling your tummy but some get missed using this method so a scan is a more accurate check.
