The Association of Early Pregnancy Unit ( AEPU) annual Scientific meeting is being held in Telford this year and two of our Nurse Practitioners are fortunate enough to have secured a place. They are very excited to be able to spend two full days with other professionals who work in Early Pregnancy, hearing about current topics from expert speakers, learning about the most recent and evidence based practice and attending workshops.
It is an amazing opportunity and enables networking with colleagues who share the same interests and enthusiasm, working together to enhance their practice and provide the best possible care for the women and families that they care for.
Day one of the programme is packed with presentations and findings from Trials, Research and Studies by Professors, Consultants, Registrars, Medical Students and Research Fellows. Topics include, Recurrent Miscarriage, Ectopic Pregnancy, Ultrasound images and The Pregnancy Loss Review and why it was necessary.
Day Two focuses on Gynaecology/Emergency Gynaecology, Fertility and Early Pregnancy, including Development of Guidelines and Protocols, Case reports, Quality improvement projects and what can be done better to improve the Experience for women /partners accessing care.
They will return excited and enthused with information to share with us all at our next Quarterly Meeting to ensure we are all up to date with the most recent evidence and research.
