New Scan Machine

We are delighted to announce a new arrival in our Bridgwater clinic. Not the cuddly, awake in the night kind of arrival but a shiny new ultrasound scan machine! After 5 years of faithful service we have retired our Mindray and upgraded to a Canon Xario 200. This new machine offers superior imaging quality. It also has 3D/4D capabilities to allow us to expand our range of services in Bridgwater. The Canon Xario 200 is the same machine as used in the Early Pregnancy Clinic at Musgrove Park hospital, which will make life easy for clinicians working between the NHS and our private service. The vaginal probe has a tilt function which makes full imaging of the womb easier. Debbie and myself had a session with the applications specialist on Tuesday and we were delighted with the ease of use and quality of imaging. We also now have a thermal colour printer which generates photo quality prints.
