A team at the University of Oxford have reviewed the evidence about exercise in pregnancy and produced advice in the form of an infographic. This has been published on the UK government’s website. You can see the infographic by clicking here.

It’s great to see a simple summary of do’s and don’ts as many of us feel anxious about whether we should be exercising and there is so much mixed advice out there! The key message is that there is no evidence of harm whereas there are lots of benefits. Hopefully this will give pregnant women in the UK the confidence to stay active.
