The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists have updated their information for pregnant women and their families regarding coronavirus. You can read the latest update here

The advice is that pregnant women should continue to attend their antenatal care, and this includes scans. If they have symptoms of possible coronavirus infection or are in isolation due to a household member having symptoms, their care should be postponed until after the isolation period, if it is safe for them to do so.

As it stands all coronavirus cases are being managed separately to GP practices via 111 or within hospital settings so the GP surgeries remain safe places to visit. We do ask that you do not visit Somerset Early Scans if you are within a self isolation period and our staff continue to adhere to this also.  Please wash your hands frequently; when you enter the clinic and again when you leave and please avoid touching your nose, mouth or eyes. We have blocked out additional catch up slots within our clinics so that all surfaces can be wiped down with a medical grade disinfectant between clients.
