The electric doors to the medical centre will be closed from 6pm. If your appointment is after this time please ring the doorbell. This is adjacent to the fire exit door to the right as you face the sliding doors. Click here to see a photo

Directions

From Taunton via the A38, or Wells via the M5 northbound exiting at Junction 24 drive in towards the centre of Bridgwater. Ignore Somerset Bridge Medical Centre which you will pass on the right, its not the right surgery! Taunton Rd Medical Centre is on your left just before a large junction

From Bristol use the M5, exiting at junction 23. From Glastonbury, Wells and Shepton Mallet come in on the A39. Follow the main road into Bridgwater going straight on at several roundabouts and junctions, until you hit a large 3 lane junction with traffic lights. Morrisons is ahead on your left. At this junction turn left onto the A38 and Taunton Rd. Taunton Rd Medical Centre is immediately on your right after this turning

Evenings & Weekends

The main entrance to the medical centre will be closed. Please come in through the Clandown Suite entrance which is to the left as you face the building. Enter the first door and then ring the buzzer to your left marked Somerset Early Scans.

Directions

From Bath: Leaving Bath travelling southwest follow signs for the A36. At the roundabout take the first exit Wells Rd/ A367 Shepton Mallet/ A37 Radstock. At the next roundabout take the third exit onto Roman Rd/A367. Turn right towards B3115 then take the next left onto B3115. Continue onto Weekesley Ln and then Bath Rd. Turn left onto Britten’s Hill. Continue onto Ham Lane. Turn left onto Winterfield Rd/ B3355. Continue to follow B3355/ Turn left and the surgery is on your left.

From Bristol: Take the A4 towards Bath and then take a slight right onto Wells Rd/ A37. Follow the A37. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit to stay on the A37 for Shepton Mallet, Yeovil and Wells (A39). Turn left onto the Wells Road/ A39 Bath. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Paulton Rd/ B3355. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Church St/ B3355. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto The Pithay/B3355. Continue to follow B3355. Turn Left. The surgery is on your left.

There is limited free patient parking on-site in addition to a bicycle rack. There is a pay-and-display parking in the surrounding roads, for more information – visit the Litfield House website.

By Bus:

From Bristol Temple Meads Station, take bus number 8 towards Clifton. Alight near Christ Church in Clifton, which is a short walk from Litfield House.

By Train:

The nearest train station is Clifton Down, approximately a 20-minute walk away to the Litfield House.

By Car:

From the city centre, head towards Clifton Village. Litfield House is situated on Clifton Down Road, at the corner of Camp Road. Look for the red post box outside the building. Please type in as “Litfield House Medical Centre” on your maps/satnav.

Please note that Litfield House is not located on Litfield Road; it is on Clifton Down Road.

There is limited free patient parking available on-site at Holmedale Health. Additional pay-and-display parking is available in the surrounding streets, and larger car parks can be found within walking distance in Exeter city centre.

By Bus:
From Exeter city centre, Holmedale Health is a short walk from the High Street and Sidwell Street bus stops, which are served by multiple local routes.

By Train:
The nearest train station is Exeter Central, approximately a 10–15 minute walk to Holmedale Health. Exeter St. David’s Station is also nearby and can be reached by a short taxi or bus ride.

By Car:
From Exeter city centre, head towards Heavitree Road. Holmedale Health is located on Denmark Road, just off Heavitree Road. Look out for signage to Holmedale Health when you arrive. Please enter “Holmedale Health, Denmark Road” into your maps or satnav for accurate directions.
