About Somerset Women Health Clinic

Our Journey and Commitment to Excellence

At Somerset Women’s Health Clinic, our experienced specialist nurse delivers expert care for pelvic floor conditions, such as pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence, including pessary fitting, management, and routine review. She works closely with a Sub-specialist Urogynaecologist to provide a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach.

We also provide dedicated, holistic care for perimenopausal and menopausal women, offering a tailored approach to managing symptoms and supporting overall well-being.
Our care begins with a focus on lifestyle changes, including nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management. Where appropriate, we offer hormone replacement therapy (HRT), with comprehensive assessment and ongoing monitoring to ensure safety and effectiveness.

For those who cannot or choose not to use HRT, we offer a range of non-hormonal treatment options, including evidence-based strategies, symptom relief alternatives, and non-hormonal medications. When clinically indicated, we also provide testosterone replacement therapy, particularly to address symptoms such as low libido and fatigue. We also offer blood tests for hormonal assessment in the same setting.

We additionally offer gynaecological ultrasound services to assess and monitor conditions like early pregnancy scans, PCOS, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and support fertility consultations and tracking, empowering women with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their reproductive health.
Appointments are available both in-person and via video (if appropriate) consultation, offering flexible access to expert, compassionate care.
