Pessary Clinic
A vaginal pessary is a simple, non-surgical option used to support pelvic organs with around 83% of women successfully using it to relieve prolapse symptoms; pessaries can also be used for incontinence.
Pelvic organ prolapse is common, affecting up to 50% of parous women.
Prolapse is characterised by descent of any of the pelvic organs into the vagina and at times beyond the introitus. Prolapse can cause a significant reduction in quality of life for a woman.
Menopause Clinic
Menopause is a natural stage of life — but for many women, it can bring challenges that feel anything but normal. 1 in 3 women in the UK are currently peri- or post-menopausal and up to 80% experience menopausal symptoms. We provide evidence-based, compassionate care to help you navigate menopause with confidence, dignity, and support.
What happens during your pessary consultation?

- Discuss indications and contraindications of pessary use.

- If the pessary is in a good position and comfortable, you’ll be shown how to self-manage – how to insert and remove.
